It is simply a person who says that he agrees with the following “Principles of Sympaths”. Nothing more is necessary to be a Sympath. There are no inspections, certifications or other verifications to check whether a person understands the principles clearly or not, and you should be aware of that when communicating with any other Sympath.

Calling yourself a Sympath you confirm your agreement with the following 7 “Principles of the Sympaths”

Principle 1:

1a) Enlightened Perceptions (EP) such as liking, joy, love, feeling of beauty, anticipation, fondness, determination, persistence, everlasting spring, triumph, devotion, detachment, serenity, playfulness etc. are extremely attractive, it is very pleasant to experience them and you want to experience them as often and as intensively as you can, as well as the other people.

1b) Experiencing or not-experiencing EP makes your life happy or unhappy to a much higher degree than any other affecting conditions.

1c) To begin experiencing EP, or in other words to “jump” into experiencing them at a particular moment, it is appropriate to use the “Enlightened Factors” (EF); these are the images and memories which are strongly associated with these EP.

1d) EP have a special feature of resonating with one another and the more intensive one EP is the more intensive the others will be. EP resonate with happy wishes (HW) as well and the more HW a person feels and realises, the more EP you will have and the more EP you have the more HW appear. The resonance with the clear rational thinking is one more feature of EP. By being guided by rational thinking, not dogmas, you feel more EP and experiencing more EPs means an essential decrease in following dogmas and an increase in the application of rational thinking.

1e) One more feature about EPs: the more of them you feel the less sickness you have and you will grow old slower.

Note 1: The fact that a Sympath agreed with the idea of a great appeal of EP does not mean automatically that they will never want to experience the opposite of EP, which are Negative Emotions (NE) see Principle 2 below. Sometimes certain NE can be desirable for them.

The fact that Sympath agreed with the idea of NE being extremely destructive does not mean automatically that he is obliged to consider all NE harmful in all cases (though it is precisely what I personally think)

Principle 2:

2a) Suffering from aggressive negative emotions (ANE) such as irritation, gloating, delight, aggression, hate etc. is a dangerous and harmful habit that destroys personality and causes wars, conflicts, hostile and destructive confrontations, accidents, different kinds of stress and other destructive situations, it deprives you of comfort and pleasure and prevents you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life.

2b) Suffering from choking negative emotions (CNE) such as self-pity, feeling of inferiority, depression, despair, boredom etc. is a dangerous and harmful habit that destroys personality, comfort and pleasure and prevents you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life.

2c) Suffering from arrogant negative emotions (ArNE) such as haughtiness, edifying, a feeling of superiority, condescension etc. is a dangerous and harmful habit that activates ANE and CNE, leading to personality destruction, loss of comfort and pleasure and prevents you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life.

2d) The habit of feeling NE can be changed along with any undesirable habit. The technique describing how to stop feeling these NE is called “eradication of NE” and it is extremely easy. The moment you feel NE you recall yourself in a state called “enlightened perception” (EP). You need to feel EP and then NE will immediately weaken. NE can momentarily come back again and it is necessary to apply the same technique again. The idea of eradicating NE comes from the fact that EP is not only an extremely pleasant and desirable perception to feel but they are absolutely incompatible with NE.

2e) When a person applies this technique persistently and continuously NE appear less frequently and less intensively and they are eradicated easier and more effectively. EPs and the other attractive states like content, comfort, happiness etc. will appear more often and start to be clearer, stronger and more stable.

Principle 3:

3a) Thinking can be considered rational only if it applies reasonable assumptions supported by logic. An assumption is grounded only if derived from experience or knowledge that may be either personal or taken from sources the person deems competent. The reliability of the source needs a proof per se, and different people can disagree with this source.

E.g. the next phrase is a pattern of rational thinking: “I will fertilise my potatoes with ashes because I think it grows faster this way. I rely on my own small experience and on the articles in an agronomical magazine. The editorial staff of this magazine consists of academicians and I trust their expertise because I don’t have any particular information to refute this trust. On the other hand agriculture is a science which I can study on my own – both theoretically and practically”.

Some parts of this statement can be definitely disputed so you can ask for additional facts; nevertheless this is a pattern of a rational thinking.

This is not a pattern of rational thinking: “I will pray before I eat because it is a right way to do it”

Any thought which is not a result of rational thinking is a “dogma” or “stupidity” by definition. This stupidity, along with NE, is one of the main reasons for wars, conflicts, hostile and destructive confrontations, accidents, different kinds of stress and other destructive happenings, which deprive comfort and pleasure and prevent you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life.

Quite often dogmas directly motivate people to experience NEs and act destructively.

Principle 4:

4a) It is extremely desirable to provide an opportunity to realise the happy wishes to as many people as possible. The happy wishes are those followed by anticipation, joy, interest and enthusiasm. Experiencing and realisation of happy wishes will develop a persons body and mental life and favour an increase of EPs and make their life interesting and rich.

4b) Suppression of happy wishes by someone’s coercion or your own dogmas, along with negative emotions and dogmas, causes wars, conflicts, hostile and destructive confrontations, accidents, different kinds of stress and other destructive happenings, it deprives comfort and pleasure and prevents you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life.

4c) Any compliance with mechanical wishes, i.e. those motivated by dogmas, blind obedience to someone, blindly following the rules and prohibitions, and not accompanied by anticipation, is a dangerous and harmful habit that destroys personality and causes wars, conflicts, hostile and destructive confrontations, accidents, different kinds of stress and other destructive happenings, depriving comfort and pleasure and prevents you from leading a happy, rich and fulfilling life. E.g. a wish to get out of bed in the morning as soon as possible is motivated by thought “it is bad to lie in the bed, my mother will scold me”, it is a mechanical wish because it is motivated by dogma supported by fear of punishment or blame and it is not followed by anticipation.

Principle 5:

5a) If you have a wish to oppose the dogma’s influencing your life, a compulsion to act despite your happy wishes, imposing a ban on the realisation of your happy wishes; then however stiff and strong the resistance, you must stay within the law.

5b) Use the same principle while assisting someone in opposing his tyrants. Revolutions and coups are not our style. All actions must be within the law.

Principle 6:

It is extremely desirable to give as many people as possible access to education and information because this allows people to acquaint themselves with different points of view. Thereby giving them an inoculation against dogmas and the possibility to learn how to reason exhilarated by clarity. A person can get the knowledge about the world around them, awake their interests and live a more rich, happy and fulfilling life.

Principle 7:

7a) It is extremely desirable that as many people as possible have the possibilities to embody their sexual fantasies (SF) because this realization, the feeling of sexual senses and erotic perceptions allows a person rich opportunities for feeling love, tenderness, sympathy, openness and the other EP and brings a lot of joy, pleasure and enlightened physical senses.

7b) Suppression of sexuality, as well as propagation of dogmas, which restrict a person from expressing sexuality and fill you with guilt and shame for sexual desires, must be ranked as a hardest crime against a human being

7c) Any kind of sex, if the participants feel pleasure and if they do it voluntarily, must be considered natural, even if you do not want to imagine yourself as one of the participants.

Note 1: These principles do not mean that by putting your name on the list, and especially under this 7th principle, you declare that you have something in common with gays for example – these are the common fears of a person. You just say that sex is a personal choice and it is his business what he wants to do in his bed. What is the most important is that he likes it.

Note 2: While realizing your wishes you stay within the law. The necessity of staying within the law does not prevent from the personal development, as well as the purely physical or practical impossibility to realize them, it does not prevent anything either. If you have 1 wish that you cannot realize you will still have 999 other ones that you can and that is more than enough. E.g. if you want to fuck your girlfriend in a state of weightlessness but you do not have 40 millions dollars to buy a ticket to space that does not mean your sexual development is stuck.

Note 3: Not experiencing NEs is not the same as pretending not to experience them. This moral low of modern people, called politeness, does not fulfill the aim, because an outwardly polite person, feeling aggression at the same moment, is still aggressive, and his aggression bursts open in any opportunity.

Though there is a big difference between a person who experiences aggression and stupidity but still supports the Sympath’s principles and one who does not support them. A Sympath may not want to fight NE, stupidity or suppression of happy wishes at the moments when he is fully involved in these harmful states, but in the calm and delightful moments he can spread Sympath principles, fix the clarity in the Sympath ideas and support them.

A Sympath has considerably more chances to stop the influence of harmful habits when they come to a dangerous and destructive point, thus depriving his life of destruction.

There are my books at a website www.bodhi.name for those who want to know the details of theoretical and practical basics of elimination of harmful habits and cultivation of EPs.

If you feel that you are a Sympath, i.e. you support the 7 Sympath’s principles above and you want to announce it openly, you can write your name down in a Sympath’s list, sending me an e-mail to bomorda@hotmail.com with your real name, second name, year of birth, a country and a city you live in (and if you want, you can add your pictures, nickname, any information about your interests etc. which you want to place so that other Sympaths might be interested in communicating with you.

Who is Sympath?
